Why choose a Kawasaki engine for your Remote-controlled Slope Mower?

Power, productivity and efficiency

No detail is overlooked to ensure our engines can last a lifetime. Spherical combustion chambers and overhead valves deliver maximum efficiency and power, while superior air filtration systems ensure optimum performance in use. Every single V-Twin engine is test-run before it leaves our production line so you can be sure of Kawasaki’s world-famous performance in your machine. Our engines maximise efficiency, improve productivity and boost the profit potential of each working day.

Power, Productivity and Efficiency

Strength and durability

Long-lasting strength is at the core of our V-Twins. Crankcases and cylinder heads are high-pressure die cast, using automotive-grade aluminium. Crankshafts and cylinder liners are forge-quality cast iron. Industrial-strength seals and gaskets are used to withstand the demands of extended professional use.

Strength and Durability

Outstanding reliability

We engineer solutions for reliable power in your machine year after year. Our rotating chopper screen prevents grass debris build-up, protecting engine cooling systems. Our high-performance lubrication system constantly keeps oil pressure at its optimum for a longer engine life. Automatic compression release means reliable starts whatever the conditions.

Outstanding Reliability

Flexibility and choice

We have designed a range of 4-stroke V-twin engines to suit the various demands of landscapers, groundsmen and turfcare specialists, so you know that a machine with a Kawasaki Engine will deliver the performance you need. From the FR series to the FS, FX and FT series, our V-twins promise reliability, durability and power whichever machine you choose.

Buying the right machine

Remote-controlled slope mowers are highly specialised pieces of equipment operated by qualified professionals in some of the most challenging mowing environments. It’s therefore essential that buyers make sure the machine is the correct fit for the type of work and workloads due to be undertaken. We recommend addressing the following aspects before making a choice.

Power

Remote-controlled mowers were developed to handle demanding, often hazardous, grass-cutting situations such as steep slopes and heavily wooded areas. A powerful engine is important to provide the power to cut through dense undergrowth, but also to deliver enough power for wheels or tracks to climb slopes and manoeuvre around obstacles.

Manoeuvrability

Manoeuvrability is at the centre of a remote-controlled mower’s design. Its purpose is to get to and cut grass and brush in places that are unsafe or difficult for people to access. While some remote-controlled slope mowers have large, often air-filled, wheels for rough terrain, others have caterpillar tracks to cope with extreme terrain and conditions.

Features

Some machines include features such as brushless electric motors for reduced maintenance, auto-speed and hybrid drives. Others include a winch to deal with even steeper inclines.

Authorised Dealer Support

Buying from an authorised dealer or distributor means users have access to the best technical support for the life of the remote-controlled mower. Genuine parts, technical expertise and warranty advice from an approved dealer or distributor will help ensure owners get the most from their investment.

"The main reason why we chose Kawasaki engines was the efficient lubrication system. Thanks to this our SPIDER mowers work without any problems even on very steep slopes."
