Rama Motori celebrate 60 years of Kawasaki Engines at EIMA International 2016
27 oct. 2016 Kawasaki CommunityRama Motori S.p.A., sole Distributor of Kawasaki Engines in Italy, are looking forward to a significant anniversary for the engine manufacturer next year.
2017 will mark the 60th Anniversary of the start of Kawasaki Engine production in Japan, and Rama Motori will begin the celebrations with a specially designed stand at EIMA International in Bologna, Italy, 9 – 13th November 2016.
Featuring on the stand (C7, Hall 33) will be two original Kawasaki petrol engines, the KF4 and KF3, first produced in 1957.
The KF4 was the first Kawasaki 4-stroke petrol engine which originally powered Japanese agricultural applications such as tillers, rice hullers, and the first Kawasaki powered walk-behind mowers. Also on display will be an original KF3; the first 2-stroke petrol engine also produced at Kawasaki Heavy Industries in Japan from 1957.
Both vintage engines will be displayed alongside their contemporary counterparts; the latest and most advanced petrol engines from Kawasaki.
The FX730V EFI is Kawasaki’s flagship engine and features the most advanced Electronic Fuel Injection system in Kawasaki Engines history. Available to European turf care manufacturers for the first time this year, it has already attracted significant attention in the US, where it was named a Top 20 new product for 2016 by Leading US turfcare magazine, Landscape and Irrigation.
The TJ53E is Kawasaki’s top of the range 2-stroke horizontal shaft engine and offers a range of unique features including it’s dynamically balanced flywheel, engineered to reduce vibration, increase application lifetime and improve operator comfort.
Paolo Coccolini, Managing Director of Rama Motori, commented: “We are always proud to be associated with Kawasaki Engines as a result of their quality, reliability and performance. We are especially looking forward to 2017 and celebrating 60 years of the engineering excellence that ensures they remain the professional choice in the 2 and 4-stroke general purpose engine market.”
In addition to the engines mentioned above, Rama Motori will be exhibiting a selection of other 2 and 4-stroke petrol engines from Kawasaki. The stand will also display a range of Kawasaki Engines Parts available through Rama Motori’s Agriservice division.
