Congratulations to Richard Willis, our latest brushcutter prize winner!

Richard Willis is the latest winner of our brushcutter prize draw, and recipient of a Cobra BC270K petrol brushcutter, powered by a Kawasaki TJ engine.

An arable farmer growing cereal crops, potatoes, and vegetables over 200 acres of land, and tackling work that varies from season to season, Richard knows what hard work looks like – but working outdoors makes it all worth it.

“My favourite thing about this job is being out in the fresh air,” says Richard. “The work is very varied, with so many jobs to do with the changing seasons. In the autumn we even grow pumpkins and do a ‘pick your own’ at Halloween. No two days are the same.”

The fact that the Cobra BC270K is designed to make quick work of tackling even the more time-consuming, larger jobs is, therefore, a huge plus.

“The Cobra BC270K looks like a great bit of kit,” says Richard. “I have been needing a good brushcutter for a while (hence the reason for entering the draw), and having a dealer so close is a real bonus. I look forward to testing it out – the farm will have never looked so tidy!”

An ergonomic handlebar design improves operator comfort, balance, and control while the tap 'n' go double line allows users to change the length of the cutting line without having to stop the engine and release the harness. Simply tap the cutting head on the ground to adjust the length.

Though Richard is new to using power tools Powered by Kawasaki, he is no stranger to the Kawasaki brand. 

“We currently have a Kawasaki quad bike that we use on the farm for various jobs, and I also have a Kawasaki motorbike,” he says. “I’ve never had any trouble with Kawasaki machines, so I know I will be in reliable hands with this new piece of kit.”
